Follow one and get another

On Friday afternoon in Stainforth, officers were travelling along East Lane when they spotted a stolen motorbike - officers pursued the bike only for the rider to dump it and make a run for it on foot!

Unfortunately for them, the decision to run didn't quite work out as planned - they led the officers straight to another stolen motorbike.

Both bikes have now been recovered and returned to their rightful owners.

A youth has been identified and will be dealt with in connection with the offences.
